Australia

Australia a second and permanent home to many an Expat, and also home to some of the most passionate Rugby fans there are. The Australia Test matches have always been one of the most awaited on the tour, and is a great grudge match between rugby greats. The major Cities of Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney & Brisbane have all been dramatic backdrops to previous Lions Tours.

 

Highlights of Australia, are the region of Queensland, The Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Harbour, Ayres Rock (Uluru).  Australia has one of the most dramatic and amazing landscapes which include the Blue Mountains, Kakadu National Park, and the 12 Apostles in Victoria.

Sydney

Sydney with it's well known and Iconic Harbour Front which includes the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House is one of the Largest Cities in Australia and the capital of New South Wales. You May recognise from History Botany Bay which is a bay on the Approach to Sydney. Sydney is of the most visited cities in the world and it has everything for the traveller and resident alike. 

Melbourne

Melbourne is a lively and coastal city located on the South East Coast of Australia, this vibrant city is a must see and has everything to offer a touring traveller, modern, beautiful and lively with hidden treasure Melbourne hosted a test game at the 2013 British & Lions Tour of Australia resulting in a loss to the tourist by one point. Highlights in include Vineyard experiences, the Esplanade of St Kilda.

Brisbane

Brisbane being the capital of Queensland and part of the Gold Coast it's isolated location on the East Coast of Australia is draw for many a tourist, and host to the first test game of the 2013 British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia. Located on the Brisbane River which offers tourists and residences alike many opportunities to enjoy fishing and watersports alike. Further North is Australia Zoo founded by the Late Steve Irwin and certainly worth a visit.
