Lions in Pink - Japan 2019

Lions in Pink Successfully toured Japan in partnership with our touring partner MSG tours. Following England at the Word Cup from the final group match we had an amazing adventure, as we immersed ourselves fully into Japanese culture and a great host nation.
We met some amazing like minded fans whilst in Japan, along with a large number of local fans who wanted to enjoy the first rugby World Cup in Asia. As we always do making friends and connections was a major part of our time there.
Below are some of the highlights and we hope you enjoy.
Tokyo
We spent our first weekend here and planned on watching England V France in the last group match on the Saturday, unfortunately due to Typhoon Hagdis, this game was cancelled as the risk to locals and fans alike was too great.
The aftermath of the Typhoon and the people that lost their lives was a stark reminder of the location of Japan and the constant barage of Typhoons during this season.
As we emerged, we were all able to watch the host nation defeat Scotland and go onto the Qrtr finals in Oita.
