South Africa is an adventure you need to enjoy as it offers everything from some of the most beautiful coastline in the world to the Safari plains with Africa's top  5 predators able to be viewed in their natural environment. Host of many a tour Clincher with the Springboks, South Africa, which will host the 2021 tour is sure to be one of excitement, drama and Rugby at it's best.

 

Whether you enjoy the Beaches of Durban, a Safari in Kruger National Park, or the tip of the Cape in Cape town, South Africa is an adventure waiting to be found.

Cape Town

Cape Town is a Major Port City on the South West coast, which sits under the imposing shadow of Table Mountain. Cape Town is one of South Africa's major tourist locations. The Harbour is a lively place to enjoy food, drink and a lively night. Boats heading out to Robben Island to visit the former prison where Nelson Mandella was held, or cage diving with the local Great White Shark population. Cape Town will host the opener of the 2021 tour with the DHL stormers leading the charge against the touring side.

Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth will host the touring side on the first mid week game 7th July, with a South Africa Invitational Team. Located on the Eastern Cape and visiting port for many cruise ships due to it's deep sea port. This location is typical of South Africa and is considered as part of the old trail, including splendid beaches, Safari reserve's and home to the local Addo National Elephant park

Durban

Hosting the touring side on Saturday 10th July, the Cell-C Sharks playing in the Jonsson Kings Park, Durban is a city on the Northern Eastern coast of South Africa in the KwaZulu-Natal province. Not only does it have world-class beaches, but is a hub of world-class sporting events. The activity hub of Durban is home to Rugby, Sailing, Surfing and Football. It is also the gateway to KwaZulu-Natal famous for Zulu tribes and the defeat of the British at Isandlwana and the successful defence of the British at Rourke's drift immortalised in the film "Zulu" starring Michael Caine

Nelspruit

Nelspruit was a surprise addition to the tour and will host the touring side for a midweek game on the 14th July. Playing South Africa 'A' at Mbombela Stadium. Recently renamed to Mbombela, this location is a gateway to the renowned Kruger National Park, home to South Africa's big five. This location is a great stop before heading onto Pretoria for the final warm Up game, with plenty of Safari options for all travelling fans

Pretoria

Pretoria will host the final Warm up game on Saturday 17th July against the Vodacom Bulls at Loftus Versfeld. Pretoria is one of the three designated capital's of South Africa, is located North of Johannesburg. You could liken Pretoria to a typical colonial city, which has been influenced over many years by the different settlers and is said to have something for everyone. Remaining strong to it's Afrikaner routes, this city leads the way in trying to reconcile South Africa's turbulent past.

Johannesburg

Johannesburg will play host to the first and last test matches  between the Springboks and the Touring team  and is the largest city in South Africa. Known as the cultural and economic centre of S.A., from it's bustling nightlife to the sporting centre, Johannesburg is a fast moving city with all to play for.
