New Zealand

New Zealand truly is a wonder to behold, located in the southwestern regions of the Pacific ocean, it offers Mountains, Islands, Rivers and Cities that welcomes Travellers and residents alike. The Kiwi's themselves are like no other, inviting, friendly, and who share a passion for Rugby and Sports. Where ever you travel, there is always a good natured banter from the opposing team.

 

The country is simply split into two main islands. The North Island which is where most of the population reside is where the cities of Auckland and Wellington are located. Hosts for the three test games in the 2017 Tour. The South Island is certainly the most scenic with it's  mountain ranges and the centre of Adrenalin type sports it appeals to many the adventurer. Christchurch and Queenstown being the main Cities.

Auckland

Auckland is a Major city in the North and has been host to many of the Touring matches Since the first tour in 1888. Based around 2 harbours it is a lively city and one that most travellers would relate to as a typical city environment. The Iconic Fortress that is Eden Park is located in Auckland. Many of the international flights arrive here and you can also get onward flights to Wellington and Christchurch, along with other smaller airfields.

Wellington

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand and is located on the southern most tip of the North Island, a natural bay it is home to a working port, surrounded by hills lined with homes. The city dates back to the earliest days of settlers, and is known as "Windy Wellington" for obvious reasons. The Westpac stadium where Test matches are regularly held is located here and is right on the waterfront. Access to the South Island Via ferry and Airplane can be found here.

Christchurch

Christchurch is a major city on the East coast of the South Island, known for its English style and sense of heritage. Established as the first city on the island. International flights arrive and depart here along with domestic flights to the North Island.
